Shariq Khan

Shariq Ali Khan is an Indian theatre artist, writer, and independent filmmaker from Dehradun, currently based in Mumbai. With a strong background in theatre, he is known for creating emotionally driven, character-focused stories that explore human relationships, inner conflict, and psychological realism. His work combines theatrical sensitivity with minimalist filmmaking, placing performance and authentic storytelling at the center of every project.

His debut short film, Grahan (The Eclipse), was produced on a zero budget and shot entirely on an iPhone, demonstrating his commitment to independent cinema and creative storytelling despite limited resources.
